Everything about your stay on Bonaire

Updated: 09/10/2018

Introduction

We first became acquainted with Bonaire in 2007 and were immediately contaminated with the ‘ Bonaire virus ‘; The beautiful nature, the healthy climate, the tranquillity, the blue sea, the many diving and snorkeling pots, the locals and so on…. Bonaire is enjoying and relaxing! We like to dive and swim very much, but Bonaire is also worth a visit
worth discovering ‘ above water ‘. We will gladly tell you all about it. We also think it is very important that you have a carefree and pleasant stay in our home. That is why the most important things in this reference work have been put up for you.
Bon Bini na Bonaire!
Bonaire means ‘ beautiful air ‘. You will notice this if you are going to enjoy the red sunset. All you have to do is walk or drive to the coast. However, be careful with the sun! Brown you are even in the shadows here, so we advise you to rub yourself in the morning with sunburn. You are sitting close to the equator and the sun is lit up when you swim, walk to the car, go outside, and so on. The first days to spend too much time in the sun can have very nasty consequences for the rest of the holidays. (we say, partly from experience).

On Bonaire The following things are very normal , by the way:
Sudden loss of electricity (usually several hours), a crossing donkey or Iguana, up to 60 km/h drive, sometimes empty shelves in the supermarket and a non-working internet. Don’t look at it, one doesn’t know better. Relax!

Route to the House

From the airport: Turn left and after about 1 km you turn left towards Sorobon. (This is the 1st split you encounter). Because the board is obsolete, it seems like there is ‘ Sorooon ‘. Then Third Street on the left and after 100 meters you will find Cas Bon Majeti on your left. House number 69.

The House

The main house consists of two bedrooms (each with its own shower and toilet), kitchen/living room, a loft and a storeroom. Before you come, some shutters ( hatches for Windows) are already opened. If you are there you can open the necessary shutters yourself. Shutters are kept close by a wooden block at the bottom of the window. Remove this block and the shutters will open. Always place the block under the lowest shutter, you can also arrange the opening angle (privacy in the bathroom)
You will soon find that there is mainly outside living. and hence the large terrace, dining table and swimming pool. The switch of the exterior lighting is located at the rear (outside) of the House on the wall.
Open doors and let them be open. The doors are locking with the latch and when it blows hard, even with a wooden or plastic wedge. At almost every door there is a wedge, spare wedges are visible in the closet next to the TV.
The house is built ‘ on the wind ‘ and so the wind blows through it. This ensures a reasonably pleasant temperature in the house. When you go away, close the doors. There is little crime In Bonaire, but that does not mean that it is never broken.

Each bedroom has a fan. We use these at night for some cooling. One of the bedrooms has air conditioning. There is also limited hot water; In the showers are boilers installed. The colder water will take some getting used to for the first time, after that you don’t want any more. The water is very cool.
The swimming pool is cleaned every Monday. You don’t have to stay at home, the Cleaner has the key to the fence.

Waste container

In The front garden is the waste container (Clicko). This is emptied once a week on Tuesdays .
Is emptying necessary? They then the garbage container on Monday night or Tuesday on the street side of the wall.
Waste separation is on Bonaire in its infancy. Besides the supermarket ‘ Warehouse ‘ is a afvalverzamelstation where things like glass and plastic can be offered. In general, most people still throw everything in their container, but this is slowly changing. It is good to know that little to nothing is recycled on Bonaire.

Car rental

Bonaire has rental companies like Bonaire Budgetcar, but we have 2 different pick-ups available at an extremely attractive rate!

Car seat

On Bonaire It is not (yet) very common to use a child seat, children usually just go on lap with one of the parents. This has everything to do with the obsolete legislation in that area (1957!).
If you are traveling with children who are required to take place in a child seat according to Dutch standards, we advise to bring your own car child seat. If you travel with KLM and Tui, this can be free of charge. See:
https://www.klm.com/travel/bq_nl/prepare_for_travel/travel_planning/children/index.htm

Here also a piece about the regulations on Bonaire:

And a piece about zebra trails! Bonaire is the Caribbean Netherlands, but the rules are not the same!

Barbeque

The Barbeque (Weber) is in the storeroom. The necessities for this BBQ (spatulas, cleaning brush) are in a bag at the BBQ. Charcoal or briquettes and make-up blocks can be bought at any supermarket. Bondigro is often the cheapest. We kindly ask you to clean the grill (directly) after use, because otherwise pests can come on. When the grille is still hot from the fire it is easy to clean.

Sights

Donkey Sanctuary
Along the road from Cas Bon Majeti direction Sorobon is located after about 2 km ‘ Donkey Sanctuary ‘. This accommodating approx. 700 donkeys, land turtles and iguanas is very nice to visit, especially for children. You can drive through the car and stop every now and then. There is also a high observation tower with a nice view. Top: Take fresh palm leaves with it; Donkeys are crazy about this.
http://donkeysanctuary.org/nl/

Sorobon

This beach is located on the other side of the island (compared to Belnem/Cas Bon Majeti). It is one of the best surfing beaches in the world because of its shallow lagoon. For children it is pleasant because the water is shallow.

The Salt Mountains

It is not an official tour and therefore certainly no less fun; Head towards Salt Mountains and at the aboveground conveyor, drive the terrain towards the office. You drive right along the salt mountains and that alone is impressive. When you arrive at the office, walk
the stairs up to the entrance and then ask for a piece of salt. A special basket is awaiting you! Free Very impressive for children.

Slave houses

You will meet them when you are driving along the salt pier. The name says it all: it was the houses for the slaves who worked in the salt industry. These slaves walked on Sunday evening/Sunday night from Rincon to the Salt pier and on Friday afternoon they walked this
way back. Nearly 40 kilometers.

Lac Bai/Lac Cai

The mangrove forests of Lac Cai form the maternity room of almost everything that swims in the sea around Bonaire. It is certainly advisable to sail through a boat and enjoy all the young life. http://www.mangrovecenter.com

Washington Park

Washington Park is located on the north side of the island. This nature reserve (and the mountains) can be seen in the distance from, for example, Donkey Beach. If you want to drive through it you need to have a decent pick up or jeep. The beaches you encounter are
Untouched and very beautiful. Snorkeling is of course great.
http://www.washingtonparkbonaire.org/

The Coral

Bonaire is ‘ divers paradise ‘. In not many places on this globe it is under water as beautiful as with Bonaire. If you can’t snorkel yet: go do it! And when you want to dive: learn it. Everywhere you can walk or jump into the sea, it is incredibly beautiful within 1 minute.
Guaranteed.

Caves

There are many caves on Bonaire! You can find all the information on
http://www.beautifulbonaire.nl/natuur/grotten.html

Bara di Karta

Bonaire has 2 tourist routes: Bara di Karta and Tras di Montana.. The start of the Bara di Karta route is at the Kaminda Lagun. Bara di Karta is the area between Kaminda Lagun and Kaminda Sorobon. Yellow signs indicate the autoroute, pink the three walking routes and blue signs the two
Mountain bike trails. In The area are former plantations such as Washikemba, Bakuna and Roi Lamoenchi, and kunuku’s as Santa Clara and Yatu Baku. Bara di Karta is the name of the highest hill in this area with the rugged East coast, the vast plains, the Kunuku’s and the plantations.

Cabin Sailboat ‘ compass ‘

We recently made a sailing trip with the compass
( http://www.compassbonaire.com/nl/ ). At 14.30 o’clock you depart from a nearby harbor and sail towards the salt plains and back to the dive site ‘ Andreas ‘. This is an experience in itself, but you can also go snorkeling and a BBQ
is served. And all drinks included. We paid USD 75, per person. There are leaflets In the house, which gives you a 5% discount.

Bedding

Each bed is already laid out and fitted with a sheet. Extra pillow cases, sheets and mattress covers can be found on the top shelf in the bedroom cupboard. (Bedroom adjoining the pool area).
The inventory is sufficient for the duration of your stay. If you still need extra bedding, we ask you to wash the bed linen In the meantime with the washing machine. (see: Washing machine)
We appreciate it if on the last day you collect the dirty bedding and lay on the washing machine. Thanks in advance!

Important Telephone numbers

Police/Fire/ambulance: 911

Construction House

Almost all walls in the accommodation consist of EPS, a water-resistant plastic material that is not only light but also insulates; The indoor areas are always cooler than outside. On Bonaire it is usually 3035 degrees during the day, at night it cools down to
24-27 degrees. Cas Bon Majeti is built ‘ on the wind ‘, so the cooling wind almost always blows through the stays. The combination with the use of highly insulating materials and additional ventilation ensures that air conditioning is unnecessary.
The finish on the EPS is thick enough to provide firmness. However, caution is in place. Hamertjetik is not a good idea! Knock on one of the walls to experience the difference with a stone wall.

Drip system

The tropical plants in the garden are automatically watered over a drip system every day around 20.00 hours for 10 minutes. The timer for this is located on the tap outside, behind the extractor. Water consumption is already included in the average consumption per stay. If the impression exists that there is no water or too much to be given, then immediately notify the administrator.

Drinking water

The tap water on Bonaire is perfectly drinkable. There is a Dutch purification plant present on the island. For daily (and necessary) use you can recommend filling glass jugs or refilling bottles and placing them in the refrigerator.

Diving

Bonaire is ‘ Divers Paradise ‘. In few places on this world you will find so many corals and so many different species of fish. One of the big plus points of scuba diving in Bonaire is that you can pull your gear on the side and walk into the sea. Only if you want to dive at Klein Bonaire you will have to go by boat. We have seen virtually every dive site at Bonaire and they are all beautiful. Incidentally, you recognize the dive sites by the yellow stones on the side of the road. The following sites can be recommended:
Thousend steps, Donkey Beach, salt Pier, the pier at the airport, Mukesh Hooker (Wreck), Something Special (Double reef), Oil Slik Leap and Small Wall (known to locals, is not on the map).
The most beautiful coral and the most beautiful fish are usually between 5 and 15 meters. Rays usually swim slightly deeper (25 30
metres).

Diving equipment

Unfortunately, we cannot provide private diving equipment for safety reasons. If you have not taken your own equipment, the various dive schools can help you very well. If you have a gear and you only need air and lead, please contact us, because we have an attractive discount at the largest diving school of the island available!
For scuba diving you need a diving penny, which is valid for the entire calendar year. You’ll be bought at one of the dive shops. USD 45,-only cash to pay.
Do you have dive gear to our house and do you want to rinse them off? Then it can be fine under the outdoor shower. Please don’t throw salty stuff in the pool! To hang up the stuff you can use the pendants that hang in the storeroom. You can hang the pendants with hook and all under the porch, to the right of the 2 sun loungers. When you look upwards, you can see the clamps on the bars to hang the hook.

Shower/Outdoor Shower (Note: Smooth!)

Our walk-in showers have a wide drain grille and a weir. Each shower is equipped with a mat. Make sure to use this, as the ceramic tiles will be smooth when wet.
New is the shower boiler in the showers. The boiler simply starts working when the plug is in it and when the crane is turned on. Instant Hot water So! With cold water shower is certainly not a punishment, but just delicious to cool down. At the outdoor shower, where the water is generally warmer, the tiles are not or barely slippery.

Donkeys

Donkeys are not only walking around in donkey Sanctuary, you also encounter them in the wild. There are still over 150 donkeys around in the wild. Sometimes you see them near the house, then they traverse the piece of forest you look at from the garden. Or they eat the palms that are behind the
Wall.

Bath Towels

Bath Towels are more than adequate. Bath towels can be found on the top shelf in the master bedroom cupboard. The inventory is sufficient for the duration of your stay. If you still need extra bedding, we ask you to wash the towels in the meantime by using the washing machine. (see: Washing machine) Towels and tea towels can be found in the right hand tray in the kitchen.

Burglary prevention

The crime on Bonaire is certainly not higher than in the Netherlands. Also here applies: Opportunity makes the thief. Therefore, always close the house and the fences when you leave the house. Make sure that valuable items are out of sight. We advise you not to lock a car, but at the same time to ensure that there are no valuable items in it. At certain dive sites there is a regular break-in. You are warned!

Check-in/check-out

On the day of arrival I will let you enter the house, give a brief explanation about the house and hand over the keys. The meter positions will also be included. An appointment will be made on the check-out time. Upon check-out, the administrator, together with the tenant, will go through the house and check for completeness and possible damage. The final positions of the water and electricity meters will also be included. After you have been checked out, the deposit will be refunded, possibly calculated with repair costs and over-consumption energy.

Insects and beasts

Gecko (Iquana)
Beasts you are sure to encounter: Iguana, Geckos, hermit lobsters and mosquitoes. Geckos (see above) you can find in the house and iguana you encounter in the garden and in every other place on the island. You can ignore them (iguana) or if you want to get them away, you’ll walk on them and you’ll find that they’re fleeing quickly. Although…. we have a real ‘ house iguana’ ‘. You will undoubtedly be able to encounter this iguana once you sit on the porch, because then it is his chance to take a job in the pool. Geckos should definitely let you down, they live from mosquitoes and other little stuff. Maybe suddenly see a shell moving in the garden. That is a land crab.
Mosquitoes are usually plentiful, but the amount depends on the humidity on the island and the amount of wind. Nevertheless, it is advisable to sleep under a mosquito net and to inject or lubricate yourself with “Off spray” when the twilight begins. (approx. 18.00 hours). Advice: Don’t think the mosquitoes will beat you. They do not. Really not. The mosquitoes love the white thin skin of tourists, and they especially attack on your lower legs. The skin of ‘ locals ‘ or of Dutch people who have been on Bonaire for a long time has become thicker and drier and therefore less attractive for mosquitoes. Moreover, the defense system is now accustomed to the mosquitoes and it can better defend themselves (less itching.)

OFF-Spray

(green and orange buses) we recommend and they are usually available at the supermarket. The amount of Deet saves per color. The price usually does not. Advice: Rinse the spray before bedtime and take advantage of the mosquito nets that come to you against cannot: cockroaches and small scorpions. (We have come across a scorpion a few times in the wet period…) It is a tropical island. These beasts live here once. You will most likely only wear slippers, but do not put socks in your shoes to prevent that a scorpion can creep in.. Cockroaches come off on food waste and open packaging. Go carefully with food products and you will in principle not suffer from cockroaches.

Internet/Wi-Fi

The modem is behind the TV, the login code for Wi-Fi is provided separately. The range of WiFi is generally adequate for the house and the guest accommodation. The speed is generally lower than you will be used to and do not look at that Internet sometimes fails. If the Internet outage is sustained for a long time, disconnect the power from the modem and reconnect the power. After some time the Internet will be available again.

Cooler

If you want to bring your water, you can use one of the 2 cool boxes. Complete the cooler with ice cubes or use the freezing elements. Please clean the cooler after use. Thank you!

Fridge

Both the main stay and the guest accommodation have a refrigerator. For the large fridge/freezer, the temperature is automatically controlled, the small fridge is adjustable in terms of temperature by means of a rotary knob. The double door refrigerator will give a beep if the door remains open for too long.

Safe

In the Linen cupboard (master bedroom) is located at the bottom of a small safe with key. You can make use of this, but we do not recommend that you also place valuables here. Should there ever be a burglary, a safe is certainly something that will be taken with you. There are plenty of storage places in the house that are less obvious. One possible spot is one of the lower drawers of the bookcase. The tray can be pulled out of the bookcase. Behind it you can store your stuff. Remember, of course, where you store valuable items!

Kitchen

The kitchen in the main residence is equipped with all kinds of comforts;

A dishwasher (manual on the countertop)
Coffeemaker
(paper filters, standard size)
Kettle
Pan
and pancakes
A
mixer (110V)
A
Bar mixer

The kitchen in the guest accommodation is equipped with the following facilities:

Coffeemaker

Kettle
Hot Plate
110V
Oven
Limited amount of pans, plates and cutlery
110v Connection leftmost

Meter Cupboard

Short circuit? The fuse box is located in the storeroom, right next to the window. They are automatic fuses.

Must Sees

Under water: Mukesh Hooker, Salt Pier, East Coast (Lac Cai), Klein Bonaire
Above water: Gotomeer, South Point, Lac Bay, Washington National Park.
Access to the National park is free if you have purchased a diving license.

ATMs (convert you ATM card to ‘ world ‘)

Before you hop on the plane, don’t forget to make sure you can use your ATM card on Bonaire. In Bonaire you can simply pay with a pin in many places (such as supermarkets). When you want to pin money out of the vending machine, it will cost about $4 at a time so remember well how much you want to go pins. The maximum is usually an equivalent of 500 euro.

Post

At the entrance of the house a green mailbox hangs. If you find something about it, we would appreciate it if you put this item at the bookcase and let the administrator know on departure. Thanks in advance!

Repairs

If you accidentely break something or see something that is already broken, please inform the owner. He will come to you if necessary. For small, easy to repair defects you can find various tools such as screwdrivers and pliers in the storeroom. Spare bulbs are located in the right top drawer.

Cleaning

If you want to clean , then there are several tools available in the storage cupboard under the stairs:
a 220V vacuum cleaner, a floor squeegee with removable cloths, cleaning products (under the sink), a little drip is sufficient. Buckets, sponges etc. can be found in the storage room

Opening/closing Shutters

Shutters are kept close by a wooden block at the bottom of the window. Remove this block and the shutters will open. Always place the block under the lowest shutter, you can also arrange the opening angle (privacy). See the pictures below. As burglary protection, a metal gusset is applied almost everywhere in the spanjolet.

Snorkeling

The most beautiful things you see mostly between 1 and 10 meters below the water level and so you can go with snorkeling for sure you have fun on it. We recommend small Bonaire (lots of turtles) and Donkey Beach.
For our guests we propose a few snorkel sets (4 masks and 2 snorkels). You can find the snorkel sets in a yellow crate, right in the rack in the storage room. We kindly request you to clean the snorkel set with fresh water after use. One of the new services for our coming guests: 4 full face snorkel masks from the brand Easybreath. Experience the spectacular underwater world of Bonaire like never before! No more breathing through a snorkel, an enormously large field of vision and no more water in your mask when you laugh at the fish. The masks cannot cover and do not need to be pre-treated. Mask set up and enjoy! We kindly request you to clean the snorkel set with fresh water after use.
Never snorkeled before? Then practice in the pool. The underwater world of Bonaire is really worth a visit with a snorkelset. You just have to walk into the water! One of the ways to discover the underwater world around Klein Bonaire is a sailing / sailing trip with the Woodwind (https://www.woodwindbonaire.com/)

Toys

A small amount of children’s toys are available. You can find the toy in a crate in the storeroom.

Vacuum cleaner

If you want to clean the intermediate, you can use a vacuum cleaner.

Beaches

Public beaches are not very many, but the following are definitely worth it: Eden Beach. Drive through Kralendijk towards the port. On your left you’ll find Eden Beach and Spice Bar & Restaurant. This is my (Jeroen) big favourite, partly because of the palm trees, the bar and the design of Piet Boon.

Donkey Beach . This is the closest to the house. You drove from the airport to our house. There is shade of trees and can easily walk into the sea. You can also drop by the BBQ and enjoy the sunset and eat and drink.

Bachelors Beach. This is the beach closest to the house, 400 metres away. To the left of the ‘ Piet Boon huis ‘ You’ll find a public beach, where you can enjoy a swim.

Plaza . This hotel has its own private beach (and swimming pool) but you can also visit it as a guest. You have to pay a few dollars. Also Plaza has a bar on the beach and it can be very cosy. drive from the house along the airport and then turn left towards Plaza Hotel.

Sorobon On the other side of the island lies Sorobon. There is a lot of surfing here because of the reef in the sea. The water here is not much deeper than approx. 80 cm.

Supermarkets

In Bonaire There are several small supermarkets. Close to the house there are 3, at or near the Kaya Industria (turn right at the first roundabout that you encounter in the direction of Kralendijk)

– Van den Tweel (expensive)
– Warehouse Bonaire (cheaper)
– Bondigro (cheap supermarket, diagonally opposite the Warehouse)

Van den Tweel is open every day from 8 am to 8 pm.
Bondigro is well similar to Lidl. You will find all the basic needs.
Opening hours: Monday to Saturday from 8 am to 8 pm and on Sunday from 8 am to 1 pm.

Many Chinese supermarkets have wider opening hours, especially in the evening.
Do you use special foods or are you attached to a certain branded item? Then be sure to bring some from the Netherlands. For many things you pay on Bonaire 2 to 3 times more than in the Netherlands, because everything has to be flown. On balance, meat is very affordable and of good quality, because it usually comes from South America.
(See: Barbecue!)

Language

On Bonaire one speaks mostly Dutch. The locals also often speak Papiamentu. We encourage you to learn and use some words from that language!

Good Morning/Good day: Bon dia
Good afternoon: Bon Tardi
Good evening: Bon Noche
How are you? : Could Ta Bai?
It’s going fine!: Hopi bon!
Thanks: thanks
See you: Ayo!

TV

Depending on your wishes, we can activate TV for you. When this is done you will receive the channels NPO1 / 2/3, BVN and many other channels. See the Basic package at http://www.telbo.net/tv-packages.html for a complete overview.

Garden

Cas Bon Majeti has a very large garden. In The garden are some plants and trees and the garden is filled with gravel. Here it is not easy to walk around with bare feet. The plants and trees are watered once a day by means of an automatic drip system.
On the side of the carporch are some palm trees. You can get dead leaves from here and take them to the donkeys. Those are crazy about it. In the garden there are several places lamps in the ground that are powered by solar energy.

Eating/drinking

Taste is different, so we can only make recommendations:
1. At Sea (boulevard) Tasty tuna ever.
2. Captain Don’s Habitat. Super nice view over the sea
3. It Rains Fishes (boulevard) Very tasty fish!
4. Cuba Company (boulevard) Excellent and affordable menu. Delicious meat.

If you have had it with the (expensive) touristenrestaurants or the hotel buffet, then here some tasty low budget tips: Bobbejan’s BBQ, Kaya Albert Engel Hart, Kralendijk. Delicious spareribs, fries and salads for around US 11. Only open Friday through Sunday.

For the (takeaway) Chinese you go to Spanhoek on the Kaya Simon Bolivar (near the Church), a good bite from US 6 ,.
On weekends one sells just before Kaya Grandi usually eat like roti from a van. Of course you can also just cook yourself.

You can also buy fresh fish that you can prepare at home at It rains fishes. There is little fresh fish on the island. The majority goes to the restaurants and resorts.

Children with? Then the following restaurants are certainly suitable:
Joe’s grill (children’s play area)
Captain Don’s Habitat (Big fish Below you)
Rum Runners, Monday evening unlimited BBQ.
http://rumrunnersbonaire.com/dinner/

Vide

The loft can be reached via the stairs in the living room. The loft is a great place to stall empty suitcases.

Voltage

The regular voltage is 110 volts. However, Cas Bon Majeti has 220 V connections. In the kitchen of the house and in the kitchen of the guesthouse you can find 110 V sockets.

Ventilation

Each bedroom has a fan. Use it at night but turn it off during the day. As long as the shutters and/or doors are open, a nice wind blows through the house.

Traffic

The island has no traffic lights, only crossroads and roundabouts. The one on the largest (main) road has priority. (or sometimes the one with the biggest car) Coming from the right, there is no right to take precedence here. Our advice is to drive quietly, because after all there is no reason to be fast somewhere.) Also Bonaireans drive usually very slow. They don’t hurry fast. The maximum speed is usually 60 km/h. The word ‘ relax ‘ fits well with Bonaire.

Extension Cords

In the storeroom you find a few extension cords for the garden accessories. Ideal if you need to ‘ work ‘ outside the laptop.

Indoor/Outdoor Lighting

The switch of the outside lighting of the main accommodation is located on the back (outside) of the house on the wall. The exterior lighting of the studio is automatically turned on. The lighting inside regulates you with the various switches.
Attention: The light in the storeroom and in the corridor works by means of 2 switches (hotel switching)

New is the presence of LED lights on the porch! There is a strip of 10 meters stuck on the sidebars. On the plateau with the candles you will find a special flat remote control. This allows you to choose the desired colour and strength.

Lighting Pool

The swimming pool lighting is arranged through a time clock. If the power fails, you can easily adjust the correct time manually. The time switch is located at the far left of the pump housing (the first time clock on your left)

Washing Machine/clothesline

If you want to wash in the meantime, you can use the washing machine in the storage room. The manual is right above it. Please sort out colored laundry and white laundry, we advise you to use a fabric softener, please remember to open the water tap and close it again after use! Detergent and fabric softener is generally present. We trust that what is being used is also replenished again. The Bondigro is very affordable.
The hanging of the wax can be on the drying rack. With a lot of washing you can use the blue washing line, which you will find in the storage room. The clothesline can be stretched around the columns. Note that the washing line may only be loaded with wax, since the columns are not made of stone but of a type of polystyrene foam.

Sunset/Sunrise

There are many places to admire the sunset. From the beach, on top of the Hills of Republic and from the viewpoint ‘ Seru Largu ‘. Be on time, the sun is fast!

Swimming pool

The swimming pool is 10 metres long and 3 metres wide. Long enough to pull a job! You can easily walk into the pool by stairs. The depth is about 1.75 meters. The pump installation runs for several hours a day, this installation ensures that the water is filtered. If you notice that the pump is not running in its entirety, immediately notify the administrator.
The swimming pool is cleaned weekly, on Mondays. You don’t have to stay at home, one has the key to the fence.
The swimming pool lighting is arranged through a time clock. If the power fails, you can easily adjust the correct time manually. The timer is located far left in the pump housing (the first timer on your left). Water consumption is already included in the average consumption per stay.

Finally….
We appreciate Feedback on this ‘ User manual ‘. Thanks in advance!
